V8 Supercars

For those who dont know much about V8's, the team Casey has joined (888 Race Engineering) has dominated the sport for the last 5 or 6 years, so hes got the right people around him to point him in the right direction. He also has Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup to learn off, who just happen to be 2 of the best touring car drivers the world has seen. The main V8 Supercar series have changed to a completely new generation of cars this year, and thus the cars from last years series have filtered into the second tier series (Casey's series) so he will have a very, very good piece of kit underneath him. It is probably the best car on the grid and will be the best prepared. As for the track, its a hell of a place to make your car racing debut. Its unforgiving, and if you make a little mistake, you hit the fence... And you usually hit the fence bloody hard! Watch this videos of 'Treacherous Turn 8', which is a right hand kink taken at over 200km/h in 6th gear with concrete walls on boths sides. It has claimed some of the best drivers the country has seen over the years. Have a look at the link below. Please ignore the shit at the start and the terrible music for the duration. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mq9beRKLDHE I am excited to see how Casey will go. I think his pace will be ok (he wont win), but he may struggle with setting consistent lap times and pack racing with other cars.

Not Interested.

No need to know what Moaner Stoner is doing, leave it out MCN! Adam15Holden, thanks for all that dreary info, I'll read it tonight at my bedtime, it's sure to send me off to sleep. Beware all reading that, you will most likely pass out from boredom.
