who cares

about V8 supercars ffs, an ersatz nascar mickey mouse formula in which it is demeaning for a premier class gp bike racing champion to race.

And there is a bloke called allan moffat who among others was rather better than whincup and lowndes without even looking outside australian touring car racing, when it was more genuine.

Mmm..bless ya

No real surprise he wanted a move to this paddock..not sure it's all about the cars though?

"I'm just looking to have fun and rub panels with a few blokes."

..wonder if he's going to be rubbing rods with his new fishing buddies?

Straight into the gravel trap at the first corner if Winterbottom has his way

Rossi F1..

Seeing as MCN is doing a good impression of Autosport, I reckon we'll take a trip down memory lane and remind ourselves of the time Rossi tested the Ferrari..not some mickey mouse support series car for aussie NASCAR.

Two days testing @ Catalunya with Massa, saw him come within a quarter-of-a-second of Raikkonen's lap record. They didn't release the official Ferrari drivers times to save embarrassment.

Rossi also competed in WRC where in NZ, he was top 7 on some stages and finished 12th overall.

A true talent and wonderful personality to boot, he could have been a modern day Surtees.

Bow down at the Yellow alter my friends..and prepare yourselves for the final flourish of a legend, the likes of whom we'll never see again.

I'd love to see Monster stick him in a V8 for a test..then race against Stoner and give him a driving lesson.

HAIL ROSSI, HAIL Rossi..and once again Hail Rossi.

Hang on a sec

Those aren't shoes, they're more like little bootees. He must have small feet if he's wearing bootees.
