Ben Spies confident shoulder will be 100% for Qatar opener

Ignite Pramac Ducati rider Ben Spies is confident his recovering right shoulder will have regained 100% strength in time for the first race in Qatar next month after another physically and mentally demanding three-day test in Sepang. Spies is still unable to ride with maximum strength while he continues the long recovery from serious damage his right shoulder sustained in a...

...and that was 2009 with checa on a honda that broken down several times when checa was on schedule to win, on the ducati checa would leave spies in a trail of smoke.

I'll wager Spies finishes a couple of races this year top 8 even if no prototype riders fall off, prolly as early as round 1 on the YamaDucRossi 1000 L-4. All these little monickers like SRAD etc. 'Suzuki Ram Air Direct'.

The Ducati blokes are stuck with the YDRAPA GP 13 for the time being. 'Yamaha Ducati Rossi Alloy Perimeter Advance GP 13'. Short form...the YDR wrapper. ...Not be confused with an L-4 YZR 2 stroke wrapper of yesteryear.

Crikey, this has been a looong off season.

You'll wager..hahaha

Is there some sort of quadruple each way bet in doughnut land that encompasses the top 12?

"I've got more loaded on Spies winning a race for Ducati than I have on Rossi winning for Yamaha in 2013".

Lowered our expectations rather dramatically from earlier this year haven't we?

Original 93'er

Well, sure. Spies does have a better chance of winning a race 2013 on the Ducati than Rossi has of winning on the factory M1. Go figure. Clearly lowered expectations apply to you since the day you claimed yourself the original #93'er. You are climbing all over Spies' injured ego and shoulder like a rash. Enjoy it while it lasts. There are only 12 rides worth talking about for laurels. . Should the #11 feature among top 8 in Qatar, you will 'hahaha' no doubt. Does your Merle dog bite ? Curious Wosi. Did you ever set one down ?

Over with the Yellow One,Under with the Merle. Head fighter,Chest fighter. I'm listening.

HELLO..Hello..hello..

You're puddled son..keep listening to those voices echoing round that empty space inside your head.

Fifth alien?..hahaha

Three seconds off the pace and he's already slinging it at the scenery?

You need to STOP making silly fanboy predictions, numbskull..and push that Stars & Stripes bandana back up, from where it's slipped down..blinding that over patriotic cyclopean eye.

Over zealous

Original#93'er. Lets see. Rossi had shoulder surgery,Spies did too.

Clearly Rossi's shoulder on the Ducati is/was more significant a handicap than Spies' could ever be given the hype for 6 months post the training accident circa off season 2009.

What's this stars and stripes issue you have a problem with anyway retard.

You are clearly fishing. Good luck.

Maybe Rob

Because he finished bottom Yamaha? And maybe also because, if it had been Stoner, Rossi, Jorge, Dani, Dovi, Cal, etc having the bad luck, when they next got a chance to do something they probably all would have grabbed it. Generally Ben didn't, and now he's on a satellite Ducati.

Can't see a way back from where he is now. Not in motogp.

Finished bottom Yamaha

Well sure DogBert. Some may argue that his Yamaha was designed to break. The structural and blah failures on his side of the 2012 garage beggars belief. Conspiracy theorists may believe Dorna needed Rossi back on a bike he can ride and not wobble around on insecurely. Ben has got the wobbler and gammy shoulder right now.

Well ! Lets revisit Spies post Qatar race. Like I said previously, all he has to do is finish top 10 on the sat Ducati to improve on his factory M1 result last year.
