not that it's happened

to me at all:shock:

I was waiting to see if he put the side stand down before heaving it upright.

Just had visions of it going over the other side

Never used one since!!!

Been there

done that in front of a crowd of people all happy to help me and the bike up and listen as someone pointed out the lock.

Worst part was, someone had wobbled away whilst setting off and I was thinking "yeh, I'll show him how it's done". Yeh. I did.

My poor pride.

I did it,

on a trike. Lucky, eh?

But I did think I'd blown the thing up, for a second or two. It sounded like a bomb went off. Nearly gave me a heart attack

put my thunderace on its side

pushing it into the garage after a couple of shandy's..................the front tyre hit a block of wood that i didnt see as i was to lazy to put the light on................i was pushing from the left and the bike fell to the right................i held on with all my strength trying to save her which made the bike act like a catapult tossing me over it as it fell......................and i can tell you lifting a fallen ace by yourself is no easy task................at least no one saw me do it thankfully but i was sore for a few days after

Done That

Didn't actually drop mine, managed to jamb my leg down and save it.

Then spent nearly 1 hour trying to dislodge the disk-lock from the disk. :upset:

The o/h did it a long time ago, with the lock on the back wheel, as he left work.  He just disconnected the back brake, fixed it out of the way and went off to the pub with it like that!

FFS

why would anyone think a fluorescent curly lead looks silly? FFS some people are too far up themselves, it's not as if you ride about with it attached. Doesn't the colour match your pinstriped rims?
