I had a cbr 125R which was pretty dull really although plenty quick enough for a learner...  (terribly narrow tyres looked a bit gash too.... when my mrs started learning we bought her a Cagiva Raptor 125 (two stroke)..  this was BRILLLIANT, smelt great (obviously) and for a 125 went like stink :-) and also looked and felt like a much bigger bike, highly recommended!
