Fell off on snow. I'm OK but bike has bust footpeg and brake lever. Got a lift home but had to leave bike. RAC will pick it up and leave it dealers for £150. Any suggestions? I don't really want to ride it until bike shop has checked it out.

breakdown

i have breakdown recovery but because I'm not with the bike I have to pay £150+mileage for them to get it. Plus I have to be there and now that's a problem. Bollocks - what a what to learn a lesson.

grr

well i went and checked it at 3am and it was still thee. Moved it to be a bit more visible and put the disc lock on. Really does seem to be only the right footpag and brake lever that are bust. I'd ride it home if it weren't for the ice-rink conditions.

babys back

Well it was still there, albeit looking a little poorly. Rode it back to bike shop and £300 later it's home. Bit bashed but could have been worse. What a stupid decision to ride in that weather though. Learned my lesson - thanks all for kind advice and offers.
