Video: Marc Marquez fastest again in Austin

Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez stayed in charge of the private MotoGP test session at the Circuit of Americas in Texas yesterday after the Spaniard narrowly edged out teammate Dani Pedrosa on the second day. A best pace of 2.03.853 put Marquez 0.123s clear of compatriot Pedrosa on another day dominated by the all-Spanish Repsol Honda line-up. Marquez’s best time was almost...

Roll up..Roll up..!!

The Ugly Sisters School for Virtual Racers is now taking bookings..

Nobstrokanus and his sidekick Bultoyboy will be handing out tips and insider techniques that many a World Champ have taken on board...then instantly dismissed as complete bollox.

Their corporate mission statement of "Stand it up on the fat part" - apparently hatched by their giggling wives over a few glasses of Rose, while comparing their relative performances between the sheets and looking for inspiration - will be emblazoned across the front of company promotional wear, such as the fetching Orange Thong range.

Bum down & head up fellow armchair racers.

Best of luck with the lessons...you'll fkin need it with those pair of numpties.

Same old,same old

'We need to understand'. The only bloody thing anyone needs to understand is older=slower. Now its acceleration out of the corner. The past many seasons, the Ducati romped corner exit, but was compromised by not getting into the corner too handily. Can't have your cake and eat it. Marquez is riding around issues the bike may have as is George on his mount. Likewise,Bradl. Pedrosa and Rossi are about stet.

Anyway, lets see what Jerez throws up.

Hopefully more 'understanding' as to why the M1 has too much grunt on corner exit enducing wheelies.

Maybe they should try an L-4 layout like Honda and Ducati.

Hell, that ain't an option either, the front won't turn in and it understeers too much.

I guess Masao Furusawa, like Fellipo Preziosi have gone fishing. Sick and tired of moaners.

Indeed me old moonshine smuggler

The excuses keep flowing from the keyboards of the little Oompa Loompa's like the contents of their freshly removed yellow butt plugs. Anything but the reality of Yamaha's nr.2 shaping up as just another also-ran grid filler.

Wosi still can't get the weight pitching correctly on his la-z-boy to disengage the footrest (which is odd given his recent motorcycles have tank mounted gear change levers), so it's a bit rich of him to be criticising those of us that have done a fair bit of racing in our time.

Big brain..

Mate..if you brought that wheezing old knacker of a two-valve over here, you wouldn't even get in the fast group on a decent track-day..and that was in your pomp racing against CX500's 15 years ago.

You're retired Nostro and drive everywhere in a fkin car, which makes you about as qualified to comment here in the cathederal of free speaking forum as the rest of us..no more, no less.

Your problem Pal, is you think you're smarter than everybody because you rate yourself higher, based on the strength of those long lost past exploits, when it's patently obvious to most you're not.

You've been banging on about the M1 being the best bike and how your boy Dani is making the difference, when everyone can see the Honda is the bike to beat, Birt outlines it above as do others who were at the track yesterday. Rossi & Lorenzo are saying it too. Is it all a big conspiracy to over hype the Honda because it may detract from Nostro's argument?

You did exactly the same thing defending Stoners 2007 bike and the obvious advantages it had.

We get it Pal..you think Rossi is over rated..Fine.

But what I can't understand for a reasonably articulate person are the preposterous lengths you're prepared to go to, while shredding all semblance of credibility along the way because of your dumbass foolish pride, in the mistaken belief that people you've never met nor are you likely to actually give a flying fk what you think.

It is funny watching you make a tool of yourself though, so please..carry on.

1st corner hairpin - looks like this could be the make or break for the season.
