Rossi: 'Ducati can't deal with criticism'

Valentino Rossi has revealed more about his fractious relationship with Ducati in MCN's exclusive new interview (out on Wednesday). The 34-year-old's comments throw new light on the team's inability to make progress back up the grid – a problem he says stems from their inability to trust its riders when they point out a problem with the bike. He says in the...

Rossi needs to focus on the job he's got. And that is beating Jorge. Once he wins that he can try and keep MM of a rookie title. If he does that? He can bitch about Ducati all he want's. Be gentle though, i am saving money for the 848 Panigale in White? The good folks from Bologna will make it hapen for 12.000 Euro's. yes they can!

Great vid Wossi! But does it matter? MM is on a better bike, doesn't care at all about so called Moto GP legends. And what matters to me? Marquez has a great ridding style. Witch as good as Dani Valentino and Jorge are? They don't have a Marc's style

Double standards

It appears that the meeting of 2 big ego's will always end in tears....

It still amazes me that Ducati paid all those millions in wages for a development rider, and producing new parts over the 2 years, yet fail to trust him or like being told what is wrong with the thing....If they don't trust Hayden, why the fck is he still there?

Interestingly when Stoner was making similar noises a few years ago, he was labelled a moaning little shit who knew fck all......

Already the yellow ones are preparing the 'Yamaha no match for the super quick Honda's" excuses. Bollox.....come proper race weekend, Lorenzo will be where he needs to be over race distance, not sure where Rossi will be tho'...............

Would help if MCN posted the video in something more widely available like flash not a restrictive format such as this.

oddly lc

you and your ilk for several years criticised that anonymous rider mainly for his performances on the aforementioned ducati, him making "excuses" concerning this, and in particular him not acknowledging that bike's "obvious" superiority. Irony can be fairly ironic.

You actually show uncharacteristic wisdom in not mentioning that other rider's name in a post on a thread which concerns valentino rossi and ducati.

Could it be???

Ducati were angry that they were not getting the results they were expecting from such a decorated and successful racer. I mean you ask for a completely different material and design of frame and the results are no different......... ??? Maybe the engineers start to wonder. I am not a fan boy nor hater..... just sayin'??? Seems logical. +++++ vtwinmark.... makes sense to me.

Living in the past

Now I could understand reflection coming from Loris or Casey, the blokes have 'gone fishing',so to speak.

Valentino needs to focus on the present rather than dwell on the past. No one held a gun to his head and forced him to turn his back on Yamaha to begin with.

vtwinmark, spot on. The further back Rossi drops off George's race pace this season and the closer he falls within the clutches of Calvin, the more he's going to bitch about Yamaha engineers not listening him. Ageing is a bitch. This bloke should have packed it in post Mugello 2010 with his head held high.

What's left available? More GP starts than Loris and thats about it.

And if that does happen the more his fans will bitch about how it's all Lorenzo's fault because he can't develop a bike and has taken it in the wrong direction.
