Doohan retired in 1999 after only 2 races the year before rossi joined 500's....so how could he run doohan anywhere, unless it was in a hire car....he was second to kenny roberts junior

He's referring to Max in 98. Rossi crashed out of his first 2 races on the 500. Didn't win til the 9th round. :laugh:
