we should no longer teach our children that we have the four seasons in a year, it is now only two seasons, winter= 10 months and autumn = 2 months the last few years the winter has been getting longer autumn shorter and summer ffs ive forgot what it actually feels like to ride with a bit of heat on my back in this god forsaken weather hell hole we call england, and its fookin snowing again.

he found the bike himself on 'Gumtree', because he wanted a 'classic':biggrin:...it seems robust enough and goes very well, and came in much cheaper than the newer second hand bikes.sounds good too for a tiddler.

changes on this engine are not to be taken as per the manufacturer, as often as every 1,500 miles would be prudent, the single cam journals are cast in a very soft aluminium head and tiny bit of shoite through dirty oil spells the end for the head, obviously somebody has looked after it by just looking at it you are now in charge of its destiny.

it's had a bit of work done on it by the previous owner, so looks newer than it should.It came to him with an SS50 tank so he had to source an original then get a respray and he had to have the seat re-upholstered. But I'll bear in mind about the oil changes. I'll be changing the oil this week-end anyway.
