Valentino Rossi’s back, but where’s the money? Yamaha explains

When Yamaha launches its 2013 factory MotoGP world championship effort in Jerez tomorrow (Friday), Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo’s YZR-M1 machinery will once again be missing a title sponsor. The return of Italian icon Rossi, who remains unquestionably the biggest box office star in MotoGP, has not attracted significant fresh investment to the Japanese factory, which is preparing for a third...

That's just vile crap

Guys, that level of Rossi-bashing is low, mean. and unnecessary.  Worse than that, it puts you in the class of the Stoner-bashers, which is about equal with used toilet-paper though not as intelligent or attractive.

Leave Rossi's imagined private life out of it, ok?  One thing that he doesn't do is make his private life any part of his motoGp circus and for that he deserves respect.  This sort of crappy commentary has absolutely no part of motoG fan banter, any more than the private lives of any of the riders. Battle the believers in the Church of Rossi foir their warped non-acceptance of facts, their adherence to dogma that has been disproved ad nauseum, their imbecile failure to recognise that what they believe in is mostly fairy stories all you like, but leave it out with this level of horseshit, about Rossi or any rider.

And yes, I am serious for once.

agreed farnarkle

No doubt valentino has been subjected to quantum levels more ridiculous abuse about his putative private life than anyone else; it is utterly irrelevant in any case, and I suspect untrue in regard to the main theme.

Also no doubt that the bloke comports himself with grace and style as a general rule off track, which doesn't mean that other riders, less likeable or not, haven't occasionally beaten him fairly on track.

Wosi you Bantamweight

Too spineless to have the conviction of your own words. But then you have a long track record of such things. I'll put in down to the punch drunk nature of the beatings you've received on here over the years defending the indefensible.

But hey at less you try, not matter how bitter and contorted your written writhings are. Which is much more than the rest of your motely yellow crew who remain in large under their rocks after their initial false dawn Sepang 1 giggly euphoria. For all your multiple failings MCN would be poorer without you.

Good grief

Nostro, is there no end to your hatred of 46 ... did he run over your pet rabbit or something in the past. Get over it and be constructive for once in your sad little life.

You and ponceofrepsol really do have some serious issues, over rated 'eh ponceofrepsol, 9 titles over 3 classes of which 7 were in the blue riband class and one of those on the 500's !! Yep, surely overated !!

Why can't posts be balanced, it's either Rossi is a god or Rossi is a useless overated rider, no middle ground at all, same when Stoner was a GP rider, he got the same sort of for and against shit, it's mad.
