New or Used?

Hi i'm new to this site, I don't have much experience in the bike world so i need some advice please. I'm looking to buy a 125cc to commute to work roughly about 4 miles a day. I've been looking at a new CPI SUV125 and thought that it would be nice to have a new bike with no MOT's for 3 years and parts and labour warranty but not sure if it's worth buying new or used! what would anyone recommend? Also what bikes are good starter bikes? And what are Cagiva mito's like? and realistically how often does a bike need servicing?

Thanks :smile

Which bike

Hi there,

A Mito is a high performance bike that needs lots of mollycoodling. I would go for a YBR, CBR, CG, Kymco or a Varadero. Don't buy new, you will lose money, get clean, good quality used, as it'll hold its money better and you will want to uprate sooner rather than later....
