Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo expect better relationship in 2013

Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo have both said they expect their relationship to be much less tense than the last time they shared Yamaha’s factory MotoGP garage in 2010. When the pair raced together between 2008 and 2010 their rivalry was one of the most intense in recent MotoGP history, with the pair frequently clashing on and off the track. After a...

The might of Honda with dani and the young pretender with a defo mechanical advantage against the legend and the current champ who both have work to do .Has there been a more exciting season in the last 25 years. Love actually..

I reckon they'll work well as a team..nothing wrong witha bit of hard racing as long as it's fair. Neither are dirty. Maturity and a different set of circumstances should ensure peace prevails.

You'd expect them to take similar choices when options become available..unlike a certain Repsol rider last year rejecting a new bike on offer, without trying it properly.

Also..if Jorge was in the same position as Dani last year, chasing down the title towards the seasons end and Rossi had no chance of winning, I can't see them not getting their heads together for the sake of Yamaha to sort out a strategy..unlike the same Repsol rider mentioned earlier, who appeared self centered and added to his team mates demise by refusing to explore options.

Kind of made a mockery of the effeminate man-love we saw a bit too often over at Honda.

A good hearty slap on the back and a beer afterwards will do the Yamaha boys.

Like Rossi did at Motegi 2010, when he had fuck-all chance of winning the championship, yet almost barged his title-leading team mate off the track a handful of times. I never saw Stoner do that to any of his team mates. Clean the yellow muck off your glasses mate.

of course it will be

Different. Rossi is just happy to be back on a good bike again. He was mad before because he brought fiat money, took a paycut to show goodfaith then yamaha gave that money to jorge. Now jorge is number 1 and rossi is out to have fun again. Its hard to change gears mentally from being the best to being the challenger, but now that he has, the pressure is off. The media is no longer hounding him about how good jorge is becoming and constantly asking him if hes scared. If rossi shows he is competitive this year, jorge will feel that pressure as the media will start asking him if he is scared. Rossi is in a great position...he is not expected to win, but he is still good enough that he could possibly pull one out of the hat( if luck is on his side and not on jorges). A couple of crashes this year by jorge and a bit of bad luck( bad tire or engine failure) and all of a sudden rossi is right there with a shot at the title. There will be some huge spanish egos this year and marquez's refusal to use this year as a learning year could result in a few multiple spaniard crashes...then rossi will pounce!!
