respray lower resale value?

Hey all,

i have an 05 SV1000SZ Ltd edition in the GSXResque paint scheme, however the tank and tail have some deep scratches and chips which cant be repaired without being noticeable.

As the Graphics for my bike are unobtainable, and aftermarket ones never match properly, the cost of having a full respray done with the OEM graphics airbrushed on is well over £1400!

So im thinking ill just have it painted in a different colour scheme, but would this really hurt the resale value of the bike?

cheers!

yip I think it wil

more than likely yes

other problem you will have is if you go see a bike thats been resprayed the question of has the bike been down the road will be at the fore front of you rmind
so you will be less willing to buy it or even go see it unless its at a lower price
