Aggressive riding clampdown won't hurt MotoGP

A new penalty points system to clampdown on dangerous and aggressive riding across all three classes in the MotoGP world championship in 2013 won’t make the likes of Valentino Rossi or Cal Crutchlow think twice about making risky overtakes. That’s the opinion of Crutchlow’s Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team boss Herve Poncharal ahead of the new season, which will see a...

courts issue summons

But at least it's a refreshing change from hearing you moan about how everyone other than Rossi is on the best bike.

Woah...

"Once a rider has reached the 10-point threshold he reverts back to zero points and no points accrued in one season are carried onto the following campaign."

Come the last race of the season riders will be lining up with boxes of nails, bottles of oil, & all manner of weapons as there would appear to be no consequence to their actions. Wacky races here we come!

Rossi Rules

Last time I checked, private testing is also mooted to be banned for the rest of 2013. Clearly the private testing issue is about to be revoked. It was invoked while Rossi was struggling to get competitive with Ducati. Now he's competitive at YM1,the private test issue is under scrutiny.

Oh yeah, this is about aggresive riding clampdown. The accompanying shot says it all. One aggressor is cleared of transgression by virtue of birthright. WTF was he thinking? Tell you what. He was thinking of winning only. Sete provided him with a good berme by racing clean and he always did. O'l Sete never did recover from that sucker punch.

Poncharal clearly does not wan't Calvin to contemplate upsetting YM1's factory applecart on any given Sunday.

Rossi Laguna

I wonder what the Laguna Pass score would be - Now correct me if I'm wrong but one of the most exciting races in recent times - If you are a Rossi or a Stoner fan, oh shit mentioned them both in the same post thats this thread bollocked.

Corrupt and contrived?

Only in Bootlickers shrunken head, Saturn.

Cleared by birthright, even though it was a Spaniard that lost. Dorna run by a Spaniard. Ben Spies' bike designed to break, by a Dorna/Yamaha conspiracy. And now Herve putting the brakes on Cal.

Oh and passing off this www.superbikeplanet.com/2013/Mar/130326lsx.htm as your own.

Get a grip you clown.
