Andrea Dovizioso can lead Ducati revival in 2013

Andrea Dovizioso has the experience and talent to revive Ducati’s flagging fortunes in the MotoGP world championship. That’s the belief of the Italian’s former Monster Yamaha Tech 3 boss Herve Poncharal, who watched the former 125GP world champion become the most successful rider in the French team’s history in 2012. Dovizioso scored six podiums last season but unable to secure the factory...

more to it than that FR

Prezioso wasn't fired because Rossi pointed a finger at him - there is an underlying reason known only to Audi.

And Gobmeier and Ducati would say that wouldn't they.    All is fair in love and war!

it makes no sense as to why Ducati wanted Rossi to stay with them if he was such a lazy clueless and lost disaster ? The slating from everyone at Ducati may well just be PR speak, which pretty much everything from every team is anyway these days.

Fresh start from here on in and hopefully progress within the team hopefully. alot will be proven this season. If Dovi and Ducati turn it round before the end of the season their critisism will be vindicated, if they dont and Rossi starts winning again back at Yamaha, they wont.

Dear nostro and co. oh want a suprise to blame Rossi for the demise of Ducati. One world championship does not make it an all conquering bike now does it. And lets face facts from 08 onwards stoner fell off due to front end crashes more than he won. Look how many times stoner fell off the Honda in two years, not many at all. And note Rossi is now back up the sharp and and not one set of scuffed leathers on the Yamaha. Just the same as when stoner jumped ship Face it. It's a shite bike and dovi will not win this year. Lets face it, he only had one win in 3 years on the best bike (Honda)

Journalists are like politicians - cherry pick statements and present them in such a manner as to lead the reader in a particular direction. There may be some truths in the text but stated out of context.   Like I said to Nostro some while back ''believe nothing of what you hear or read and only half of what you see!

Could it not be as simple as Ducati  didnt have the resources to keep up with the japanese for the last 5 years and fell behind when it came to development. Audi's financial muscle should cure that now.

Good argument -  I'll agree that Preziosi gave Ducati their WC (the 800cc GP7)..... not Stoner who just happened to chuck his leg over the superior bike that year. We're now on 1000's with different handling characteristics.

Nostro ....... the elimination of two yellow-heads for the price of one!  Sounds good eh?  Take the bet - you know you want to!   Come on, Come on ........... two for one!   Or is your Bismark type 15 inch canon nothing more than a pop-gun ?

Presiozi knows he couldn't have given more?? I suppose that you have that on good authority?? Or do you mean he refused to adapt. The dukes problems are ducatis and yes nostro the bike was similar for casey and Rossi but the competition had moved further on. .. Anyone daft enough to believe the duke is closer than last at this point is barmy and even if it was its the trickle down from last year dovi et al haven't been there long enough. Presiozi refused to fix the frame because his calculations told him 'all' ducatis riders were wrong end of. No more rossis fault than anyone else even nostro, except maybe casey who told Ducati it was a ripper . Having said that presiozi decided then to believe one rider and ignore the data of all the others to do that. Go figure...
