Rsv4 or S1000RR

I am now on the look out for a new litre sportsbike to replace my K9 GSXR 1000

I have it narrowed down to 2 bikes but being 6ft 2 and a bit of a large lad I am looking for peoples help.

The 2 Bikes are: Aprilia RSV4 Factory or BMW S1000RR

I have around 10k to spend. I have test ridden the BMW and found it fast and comfortable but the power delivery was a little too smooth compared to the GSXR and I am not 100% sure about the headlight look on it.

I have been told the Aprilia is meant for quite small blokes but you cant beat the sound of that V4

The Aprilia is very small – it’s like a 600 to ride and possibly even a 400! We’d go for the current-model S1000RR – it’s roomier (but the pegs are still quite high) and the engine, suspension and throttle response are a lot more refined than the original model.

The roomiest 1000 by far is the Yamaha R1…
