Out Yesterday

with my matey on his aprilla rsv. Bloody cold, but a good run.

Anyway he trys to draft past me, which the 675 killed by opening her up (i've got 12,000 revs now, bloody awesome), and starts pointing at his tank.

Figuring he needs petrol i pull over at the next station, at which point he says

" i don't need petrol just thought you'd like to ride my bike?"

thinking about it for a sec i reply "no thanks"

"but you've never had a go"

"i don't want to" says I " you just want a go on mine don't you?"

he gives me a shy smile and nods, off we go again, this is from one of my friends who couldn't understand why i'd dropped cc from the R1. think he got it today?

i Love Twinkle:biggrin:

get a go on one if you can. Cracking Cracking little bike.

i've dropped about 40hp from the R1 but i'll tell you its a faster more confidence inspiring road bike than the R1 would ever be.

i can grunt out of bends at 4000 revs and then scream the thing all the way to the red line.

it handles sublimely and i find myself hanging all the way off without worrying about highsides like i did with the R1.

all this and its still returning 40mpg (R1 15mpg)

and to top it all , its not that common and you get all the attention at the cafe(mostly old blokes and slightly strange women but hey its attention)

only drawback so far is road presence, seems car drivers don't see you too well, but i've adjusted to this and its ok.

awesome bike .
