Scotty crew - route advice

Advice on routes north of the border up to Glasgow

will be travelling from Penrith via Alston and Brampton to Gretna and Dumfries BUT THEN WHAT

straight up to Glasgow to head north or

Balmaclellan and then onto Ayr then Glasgow

or

Newtown Stewart and Givan and then Glasgow

Or is there some other cunning route not obvious - dont want to head east as we want to travel down on the east side.

last year, but surely I'll be right some year?:smile...I'm thinking that when this cold spell breaks,we'll go straight into a good warm spell...quite a bit better round here today...but been busy dismantling and fettling the Son's bike....he's going for concourse I think, but at least if we start from the ground up he'll have an idea of what to look out for if he ever breaks down away from home.:smile

was that

the day Tim ,Oldish and Mike carried on  and you and I headed back slowly ,with you and Sky stopping for photos?

That was an awesome day out ,and I'll never forget my ride alone through Glen Coe and to the Green welly.

That's why I'm a biker and why  I'll stay a biker 'til I can't ride anymore:biggrin:.
