I think he'll win a few times, and bin it a few times. Championship? Can't see it in his first year.

In the heat of an intense battle, with the established stars at this level, im sure Marquez still will have abit to find out about how a Moto GP bike can bite you... See lorenzos earlier top level career for details

Rookies yes Fatrat

but with Gabbarini to lend a helping hand as required. MM & CS are not dis-similar in style. There is surely set-up information to be gleaned from the 2012 data of btoh CS & DP.

I understood MM's main Jerez problem was breaking free from his Moto2 lines. In circumstances like Jerez (heavily weather affected) MM might struggle a bit. But with plenty of dry time he'll have his house in pretty good competitive order most Sundays.

Are we going to get a summer this year though?

Marquez

New, talented and super quick, to MotoGP, but unknown come race day, it's his judgement, patience and his ability to make clean passes, using his head, not his heart, and his ability to finish races, is going to be a question mark for the first part of the season. Let's hope he does'nt bring on his Moto2 traits, otherwise, he could cause havoc. Anyway, not long to wait.

I take your point about Lorenzo but remember he was on different tyres from the other class leaders - the Michelins that Rossi denounced as uncompetitive. So given that Lorenzo was hell bent on winning, didn't have equal machinery with Rossi and had Michelins, it's understandable he lobbed it a few times...

Marquez will have no equipment disadvantage. I agree though, an over eagerness to prove he can beat the current riders may well see him in the gravel at times.

Sorry ratty, I'd have pointed out in my earlier comment that he has Stoner's crew who just might have a clue about setting the bike up at different circuits, but I assumed you'd know that already.

Personal experience

Bulto , its like trying to explain something to a teenage boy, they think they know better and dont always listen., Not until MM experiences just how far you can push a Moto GP bike in race situations ,he will not have the knowledge of his main rivals

. You cant teach anyone that, it will come over time, and from learning by his own mistakes. Much like Lorenzo did and has developed into the compete (IMO) package he is today.

Granted Stoner old crew will be a great guide for him,  but watching porn doesnt make u a great lover does it.

CCB, I'm not so sure - Randy Spears taught me a great deal...

Talking About

Rats and sinking ships - what a low-life shite you are, what 'hammer him Cal - destroy' - what's happened to 'Coventry baboon man' as you were calling him last year, you're now gagging to put your tongue up his arse. That's low, even for a woolly rodent like you, hang your head in shame.
