Crutchlow a title dark horse, say Rossi and Lorenzo

Cal Crutchlow’s outstanding early 2013 performances mean the British rider can be a dark horse for this year's MotoGP world championship. That’s the view of factory Yamaha duo Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi, who were split by the Monster Tech 3 satellite rider in the top three in tonight’s opening practice session in Qatar.          That`s all that is missing and then he could be a winner. Yamaha fcked up and gave it up in the vain hope of finding sponsorship.......oop`s! Still it`s good to see the Duke up near the front again,{ a whole 1 thousandth behind the previous "rider"},just show`s what you can do with a bit of set-up knowledge.

solid as rocks is the yamaha squad, dp looks very erm unhappy happy and with a few bad race results will definitly start to feel marquez will out shine him, early days yet but still jesus that kid has learnt very quickly, great to see cal where he is on sat bike, the crt's just look completely silly out imo, making up numbers yes but p3 was a traffic jam for the prototypes, even bradders got tangled up a few times.

Let's hear it

for Cal, he  might have his faults, but he's fast and the best we've got. If he stays on he'll do well on Sunday, good luck to him.

Early days but ...

... Dovizioso shows he's class - on last year's GP12. Pedrosa paying the price for bunking-off early at Austin and Jerez. Great showing by Smith - closing in fast on Crutchlow & Rossi.

yes good one lap pace but look at the stats not very consistent but early days as you say rev, maybe his smoother than rossi style?? can tame it, personally after ten laps like rossi did he will fade away.

Moto Matador .001 ahead of the champ for 1st and 2nd spot and then.......... 4th The Doctor with Dovi in 5th again only .001 separates them!  All still around a second off lap record pace but great stuff none the less!

Must agree with the rev.... Dovi was "cool" tonight. They must be doing something right at the moment as The Kentucky Kid isn't that far behind.

F'in cold in blighty innit???

Ciao mama's
