Anyone use a K&N air filter?

I ordered one today, just wondering what your opinions are.

k and n

I fitted one to my ZZR1200, never noticed any difference, but I won't have to buy another air filter for it.

K&N air filter.

My ZX6R came with a Stage 1 Dynojet-tune which includes a K&N filter. I also put a K&N on my R1 and haven't noticed any difference with the standard or an Akrapovic end can. I lubed the ZX6R's K&N air filter at 50k and it made no difference. As fogie says, even if there's no performance benefit it won't need replacing so I think it's worthwhile.

Had both

the oil and air filter delivered by Demon Tweeks this week.

Doubt it'll make any difference but it was only £10 more than the OE Suzuki filter.

Yeah I'm hoping for a nice airbox growl! grrrr:mad::biggrin:

wacca that also is true, I priced a suzuki one a while back and had to steady myself when the guy told me

So just thought may as well go for the K&N

Also the oil filter is about the same price as OE

Fitted one to my Blade

and it ran pretty rough in the mid-range until I got it stage one dyno jetted and set up on a rolling road. It didnt change the induction noise like the one on my Civic Vti did though. That was awesome when the Vtec kicked in.
