Tyre choice

I have just bought a gxsr750 track has a 600 profile tyre on which needed a longer chain to accept profile. Would I be better reverting back to a 750 profile for the track or keep the smaller tyre? Any advice please, thanks

Tyre sizes

Don't the 750 and 600 both use a 180/55 as standard?

What is on there now?

I don't see the connection with the chain? How does a longer one accept a different profile?

Edit:  unless you mean the aspect ratio effectively changes the overall gearing and it has a different sprocket size (and therefore chain length)?

Sorry, not much help I know, but I'm just curious.
