Graphics on bikes

Hi, i have a suzuki drz400sm and im wanting to sell it. I had some custom graphics made up for it a while ago but decided not to put them on as i was going to sell it. Unforunatlly i was riding my bike the other day when a tiny bit of mud on the road caused me to drop the bike and giving it nasty road rash on one of the fairings. Therefore im considering to put the graphics on before selling it to make it look nicer. what do you think about aftermarket graphics on bikes? and do you think it will decrease the value of the bike? thanks

It'll certainly make you a dishonest seller.

Either replace the fairing or knock off the cost of a new fairing from the price you were going to sell it for. Don't try to deceive potential buyers, it'll only come back to bite you in the ass.

I'd leave it

as is; bikes do get dropped (everyone's done it at least once), but a buyer who can see the damage can judge for himself if the bike is a decent buy (albeit at a lower price), graphics / resprays etc may be hiding more significant damage for all a buyer knows.
