What would it take to make you stop riding ?

I've had a bit of a shock today ,my boss ,lifelong biker, had hung up his helmet!

I'm flabbergasted ,he was always so hardcore .Hols on the bike ,daily Summer and Winter commute, the lot .

But three accidents in 9 yrs and a worrying trend towards more SMIDSY's in general daily riding  and he's thrown in the towel .

I think for myself ,it would have to be infirmity ,that stopped me . When I was actually no longer physically able to ride .

But is there a point in your life where it becomes just a form a transport and no longer a good option ?

Why would you quit? You could die doing anything. I crashed the other week into a Lorry and broke two bones... it hasn't phased me one bit.

I've crashed like 12 times in 7 years lol, you just get over it.

Ever considered getting some training? You're not supposed to be proud of falling off so often.

hmm, let's have a think...

Pregnancy, paralysis or penalty points!

I spent well over a grand last month insuring, taxing,MoTing and servicing the damn thing and that's before I added any fuel so for me the biggest thing stopping me riding this year so far is finances.
