Bradley Smith vows to learn from Qatar error

Bradley Smith has vowed to learn from the early mistake that ended his MotoGP debut in Qatar after just five laps. The Monster Yamaha Tech 3 rider was pushing to move back inside the top 10 when he lost the front-end of his YZR-M1 machine at Turn 7. Smith said: “We changed the bike from the warm-up to the race to get...

Okay ...

... so you made a mistake - so what? It's your first MotoGP race - you're allowed. Unlike your team-mate, you're intelligent enough to know that you can't repeat the same error twice (or more in Crutchlow's case), so you'll quickly learn and move-on - of that I have no doubt. We're all routing for you Bradders!!!!!!

I echo that sentiment Benny

Bradley qualified inside the top ten which was a positive start - he will learn from his mistake and next time will finish the race inside the top 10.  One would have to assume that the Tech3 YAM is better than the current Ducatis and he should finish in front of at least two of them.

Something that young Brad does possess is humility which is quite rare in today's youth.

It is a real shame this young man is on the M1. There are, clearly, a lot of riders whom have more skills and talent. Poncheral must collect quite a lot of money to have him there. YAMAHA doesn't like it either. I am curious how long this relation will stand. Benny, please don't compare Cal with this kid. Cal has profen he can be right with the so called aliens. Why not keeping Dovi at the team? He for sure has more potential. Its a big big mistery to me.

tosh

Dovi left coz he didn't get the works ride with Jorge, Cal ended up staying as Dovi took the ride on the factory chopper. Bradders did well in his first GP, row 3 is no mean feat. So he crashed, remember how many times Stoner, Lorenzo and Rossi all crashed when they were rookies? Give the kid a break, Poncheral is no mug and wouldn't have singed the ginger ninja if he didn't have potential. All I ever see on this website is haters and fanboys, do try and grow up a bit......
