2008 clutch recall question

Hi all

Ive just bought a 08 cbr1000rr and a friend of mine told me there was a recall on the clutch.
Its not in the service book, so how would i know if this has been done or needs to be done?

Also where do i stand as the new owner in 2013?
Thanks for your time.

honda recall

A decent Honda dealer should be able to tell, from the chassis number. Usually there's a centre-pop mark around the area of the chassis number, but exactly where on yours I don't know.

Call Honda Customer Services or go to main dealer

I had one of the first 08 blades and there were 2 recalls, one was a clutch replacement, and the other was a coolant hose. Got paperwork on both, but noothing added to service book.

Worth checking both were done, Honda customer services or any decent main dealer should be able to advise.

Always a potential issue if you but a brand new model

Good luck
