WSB Aragon Race 2: Davies dominates in Aragon

Chaz Davies dominated race two at Aragon to complete a perfect weekend, walking away with a full complement of 50 points and establishing himself as a championship contender. The race start was delayed when Jules Cluzel had problems on the line, forcing his bike off the grid and leading to a second warm-up lap. Eugene Laverty led away from the line before...

Richard1967 agreed! But i gotta say something? Propper ride by Chaz, riding so much better than Melandri equals close to World class to me. Going to assen in 2 weeks time. Hope to see Chaz ridding strong there as well. If the Kawasaki Grinner can't win here in Holland? I have no problem seeing Chaz take another double! Verry impressed with Chaz today! Can't wait for Assen. Maybe Michael vd Mark can sneak a Victory in WSS wich would be awsome!

Bet you wish that you were Welsh now Richard? But you're not - deal with it.

Pretty pathetic amount of riders on the grid in WSBK IMO . And that is including about 4 riders that should not be running at this level at all. Riders like Lundht and Clementi couldn't ridetop 10 in superstock600.

Been watching Chaz since his 125 gp days its been a long slow road but looks like he's finally cracked the big time - go on my son.

That apart the WSB field seems sadly depleted from it's glory days only 14 finishers in each race (Rea's 1 point for 15th wasn't counted because he entered the garage and was deemed to have retired - it's the rules!) perhaps they should run the top 10 Superstock bikes as a sort of WSB - CRT class.

early days yet

but if chaz shows good promise you could see him in moto gp you never know, laverty got his ride on crt fairly easily compared to most but im sure chaz wont settle for anything other than prototype or maybe just stay in wsbk, stoner must have been happy watching this.

welsh or not he still is a brit like it or not benny boy.

Foggy, you're just English - you wouldn't understand.

Two brilliant rides by the tall, stylish, Welshman. Davies destroyed everyone and everything in just his second outing on his new bike.

What a star!!!  But then that's of little surprise to me, because he's Welsh.

Dream on thick English Foggy, and clutch your loud-mouthed, squeaky, Crotchlow pillow tight.

Cool, quiet, Chaz is THE man and he's coming to MotoGP - soon!

Prepare to cry and disappear - and take Crotchlow with you.

Anyone else noticed how ridiculous Melandri looks in his post-race interviews - he can barely see over the counter - now there's a real Munchkin.    Now he's got the tall Davis as his team-mate (rival) he looks even smaller.

Indeed Saturn ...

... spelt Davies but pronounced 'Davis' in the local cool lingo. Why do English folk say: Daveeeeees? Can't they talk tidy?
