Bike 'jumps' forward when put into first

Hi all, I have a Suzuki gs 125 cloned bike. (Carb fed) the bike is brand new from the dealer. However after warming her up when putting in first gear from nutral the bike lurches forward (clutch fully engaged) and stalls.

However if I let it warm up for around 7 mins the stalling stops. But still does the lurch. Is this normal for a small bike? And is it just a case of warming her up.

jumping forward

No mate, it's not normal. Either take it back to the shop and get them to adjust the clutch freeplay and/or idle speed.. (under warranty) or, if you're confident, ....  no, take it back to the shop, and tell them what it's doing.

Chinese Bike?

Hi LearnerRider

First if its a new bike(the bike is brand new from the dealer)then you should take it back and have them sort any problems under what ever limited warranty this Chinese bike has.Chinese bikes very often have some sort of machine oil or even cooking type oil in them for transport only, maybe yours is the same and hasn't had its oil changed yet?but this should be sorted out by the dealer and isn't your responsibility so take it back, explain the problems and don't except it back until all repairs are carried out.Test ride it when you pick it up,to check its been sorted.Good Luck with it(you will probably need it:upset:)

New bike

Yeh the bike is under warenty and just had its first service with good quality 10/40 put in (I watched this being done)  It only does it first thing when being started up and warmed up, after this it's fine all day, but from whats being said I think it could need a clutch adustment.
