BSB Thruxton: Shakey takes 44th win, becomes most successful ever

Defending champions Shakey Byrne became the most winningest rider in British Championship history today, taking his 44th win after a red flag brought the race to a premature end at Thruxton. Keith Farmer led away from the line after qualifying on the first lap, but normal service was soon resumed as Shakey Bryne soon took the lead, before former champion Ryuichi...

Well done but

Well done to Shakey but he's in the strange position ofnot being good enough for motogp or wsb but perhaps too good for bsb.

What a Joke

Race 2  was an absolute joke, the safety car got more track time than most of the riders! and if the race had run its full length I think you might find that James Ellison was on the top step and not Byrne, well he definitely would of had to fight for the win and not had it gifted to him on a plate!....

Safey Car / Crashes

I have to say, i think the organisers were over the top with the safety car being deployed, over the races. I think they could have moved the cashed bikes under yellow flags. Overall i think the racing was spoilt by this. Someone you can count on to crash however is bomber harris. Why does he still keep getting a ride? He is fast, but you'd be better on betting on what lap he will go down, rather than who will win!

going to be boring if Shakey wins every race by a mile. dont get me wrong he`s brilliant, but needing someone else up ther with him, hope Ellison, Brookes, Lowes can keep up and make the racing interesting.

Well done Shakey but please MCN, don't go the American way and use that stupid "winningest" word if you can call it a word. Back to ( an English ) School Mr Simon Patterson.
