Reckoned

to be 2.1 on the Richter scale.

Now if I was to be topical and a little less sensitive, I could say something witty about fertiliser bombs and Brighton :ph43r:

There's going to be

an interesting comparison between the Boston bombing and this.

Boston - 2 bombs; 3 dead (so far); 170ish injured; a huge amount of money is going to be spent catching the perpetrator(s) and nothing will be done about the easy access to weaponry in the US.

Waco - the death toll is going to be high (unless a complete exclusion zone was instantly created around the fire), safety procedures clearly weren't up to the job; an investigation in to responsibility will be carried out and nothing will be done about the routine lobbying of  Senate to influence any restrictive regulations (not that I'm insinuating that lobbying occured in this instance!)

amazingly

it only killed 5-15 people. Loads injured and I'm sure some horrific ones among them but I'd say that's an impressively good death toll. Most were probably emergency services which suggests to me that their emergency evac procedures were reasonable if nothing else.
