Ducati’s CEO Gabrielle Del Torchio is being replaced by Claudio Domenicali, it has been announced. Rumours emerged earlier this week suggesting Del Torchio was set to leave the firm. It will be interesting to see the direction the engine takes, because i'm not sure the new 1199 engine in the 1199 is the engine that I want in any road bike, it's thin ! but will it offer anything over an inline 4, so will Ducati rush to change all their bikes to the new engine and the service benefits it offers or will they make a longer stroke version of the 1199 or at least change it's nature to reflect their older engines. Living in the past :)
