Oldish

calling Oldish.

I'm interested to know how are the cheapo brake pads have performed.

What are they like for wear and stopping power?

I ask because I'm thinking of selling a bike that needs pads and don't particularly want to shell out loads on a top brand if cheaper alternatives are any good.

Rich.

Edit: dunno why I put this in over pub talk.

Thanks Oldish

Result.

Halfords had two pairs of Ferodo HH Sintered ones in, normal price £24. Discontinued stock so got them for £12.50 a pair. Considerably cheaper than the £47.50 a pair they wanted down the local bike shop for the EBCs and just as good, if not better. £25 vs £95 no contest. Tight arse. Pah!
