How many miles have you Ridden?

On Bikes (with engines) give or take a few thousand....... AND....How many times have you "Come Off"...?

This is a bit of a silly theory of mine....to see if MCN's "General News"....asks a similar question in a few weeks.:winkie:

Not many

Rough count, around 90 (thousand, that is).

Come off: I'll admit to 3   (no claims though!)

Mileage and accidents

Probably around 200,000-350,000 miles  over my life time. Road crashes about 4 times many many years ago (I've since moderated my road riding to stop that happening - all those accidents were non fault on my side). Racing crashes a few more although most of those were just slides. Last count was 23 broken bones in total from bike accidents.

guess

I must have done about 200k + min, started at about 8 on trials and stuff. Off's, i can remember 3, one was pulling away from lights on a Triumph Trophy circa 1968, dick head driver went through a red light in front of me, bang, i flew through the air and ended in a banks doorway (yes comments were heard about cashing my chips in).

You won't see me

without it, no way no how.  The last off was at slow speed on a roundabout on diesel.

Took my knees through the leather down to the armour, gloves and lid demolished :upset:

Always change my lid every 3 years as well

Edit, but if anyone else likes to ride in mini skirts or short then I don't have a problem, it's their skin :winkie:

The OFF's can't remember the drunken ones back in the 70's lol!
But a few others while dispatching which hurt, but I'm still here
