Gravel traps or

death traps (ok not that dramatic) but still, as Crutchlow said he was sliding along just fine until he got to that gravel trap. Just what is the point of them? They don't stop vehicles travelling at great speed hitting the barriers/air-fencing and they cause more damage especially to downed bikes and riders.

Tarmac them over.

rossi\lorenzo n smith have 2 year deals, cal has just this year
cant see Yamaha running a 3rd bike in works team or tech 3
