Out Today - Corsewall Point

Woke up to a sunny morning and decided to chase the sun down to the south west :sunglasses: Unfortunately there were some cloudy bits, but still the best part of 200 enjoyable miles.

2. You won't make it out in the photo, but that's Ireland on the horizon

There's a monument

here to a Russian ship called Varyag with quite a colorful past.

I thought it was a good spot to weigh anchor :winkie:

I wonder where I got those ideas from.... :winkie:

I thought about going with Gordon today but I'd been out last night and needed a bit more to to waken up! I also thought the forecast was better to the south. It was dry all day but not as much sunshine or heat as I'd have liked...

Oops, it was meant to be 0603...

My turn to be pedantic now - there is no Stranraer ferry anymore, both companies sail from Cairnryan these days :winkie:

Thanks mate :smile I can't fault the bike and it's very rare in that colour scheme.

Good to see you got out.   I have to admit I hoped we would of headed south today like St Mary's Loch.  But the draw of the north won over! :smile

The rain weren't too bad but unsurprisingly it rained between Callander and Strathyre.  Thankfully as we took the road to St Fillans, Ben Vorlich kept the rain back.
