Jerez MotoGP: Pedrosa wins as Marquez and Lorenzo collide

Dani Pedrosa rode to an easy race victory at his home GP at Jerez, but the real talk of the race was a dramatic last corner collision between rookie Marc Marquez and defending champion Jorge Lorenzo. Lorenzo led early in the race, but a hard charging Pedrosa soon came through and got away, pulling out a gap right away as Lorenzo...

So.. As the no 2 rider Vale has to ride the new n piss poor 2013 model whilst Lorenzo and the tech 3 bits ride the superior 2012 bike?

From Marquez and the boy just does not care!
He is bringing Moto GP back to life along with upsetting other riders.
Great to see.
Also good to see Dani back in full force and finishing where he deserves.
The Honda's are clearly the better bike at the moment but will it stay that way all season?

Too much respect

I think there will be fireworks from this race on. There has been far too much respect with each other over the past few years and now MM has stirred things up, which can only be good for the viewers. It is just a pity that Simo isn't here to add to the mix as well.

I wander if Kevin schwantz was watching Dani. I think an apoligy is in order. Well done Dani, fantastic race and hopefully the next MOTOGP champion. The rider of the race again though was Lorenzo. he never put a wheel wrong even though he was under intense pressure throughout the race and riding a bike that was clearly inferior to the Hondas. Marquez got through at the end but it was a racing incident and this happens in WSB every weekend they race Just watch Melandri . So Lorenzo dont get cross get even. I think the more dangerous moves came when Marquez was out braking him self and nearly hitting the back of Lorenzos bike and unless he calms down their is going to be a big accident. Rossi had a fairly good race and has something to build on and Cal rode exceptionaly well for 5th place. S till not as exciting as WSB but getting their. Its just a shame that next season nobody but the rich will be able to afford to watch it

2012 Bike

It's already been noted that Rossi rides with different settings to JL, so if the 2012/Tech3 bike suits him more, all well and good.

Well done to Rossi, managed to beat all the non- full factory bikes (apart from the Ducati's but he said they were rubbish anyway)

Looks like he's brought the front end problems with him from Ducati but nice to see he isn't moaning about it. I'm sure Burgess will sort it all out, after all he reckoned he'd sort out the Ducati 2 years ago.

Hope Lin Jarvis still thinks he's getting good VFM with Rossi, he could've had Crutchlow for a fraction of the price.

He's finished

Bradl that is. Poor guy looked all at sea yesterday sitting in the pits. Podium by Le Mans did someone say?

It looked like the arse end of last season the way Dani took off.

Rider of the day Jorge? How d'ya figure Ratchet? Regardless of how tough the pass was, or whatever problems the Yam may or may not have, he was third.
