Jorge Lorenzo silent on last corner controversy in Jerez

Jorge Lorenzo repeatedly refused to express his views on the controversial last corner overtake by Marc Marquez that left the factory Yamaha rider third and overwhelmed by anger and frustration at the end of yesterday's Spanish MotoGP race. The reigning world champion thought he had second place secured after Marquez botched an attempted overtake at Turn 6 on the last lap. But...

Big respect to Lorenzo for the way he has acted. Most of us would have wanted to knock Marquez block off.... Although yes it was a racing incident. Rossi got away w it and so should Marquez as a result. Marquez always gives 110% and he's a pleasure to watch, like Rossi in a battle he always has a chance.unlucky for Lorenzo in this case.... Looks like this is shaping up to b an exciting season...

Its good actually Jorge is staying silent on what happened but like I said this one incident has really got the championship talking and the season.

Does he need to say anything?

We all saw him shaking his head, wagging a finger, refusing to clink champers..

To be fair though, he's admitted leaving a gap and sounds a bit more philosophical now.

Great news for us fans mind.

Flippin' hell..imagine if MM punts him again at Le Mans?

 Hee-hee..

pissed off

Jorge is keeping quiet because he is pissed off with himself for opening the door to MM. Many wouldn't of tried to get through the gap, but it looks like this is how it's going to be from now on. JL has just got ride more defensively and dish out the same moves, just like he did in the 250 days.

Now he's cooled off he probably accepts that Marquez didn't deliberately collide with him to make the corner. He left a barn door open and any rider would have gone for that gap. If they didn't they shouldn't be racing. It was nothing like Jerez 2005

Favours

Jorge hasn't done himself any favours by 'wagging' his finger. He would of done better saying 'if that's the way MM wants to play it, then bring it on'.

There was a gap..

..but Marquez got it all out of shape and went in too hot. Lorenzo has every right to feel aggrieved with the young pretender; although it's right to say this is racing and it was right not to penalise him. He's putting on a show and along with Cal is the highlight of the grid...Rossi is MotoGP?...pah!!...

There was a gaping chasm!!!!!!

Lorenzo admitted he thought MM was further behind him, basically JL fell asleep and took 2nd for granted.....when MM piled in JL could probably have gone around him or under him and took second, but he turned in even though MM had clearly shown him his front wheel

That aside.....the fun has started....and for the first time in years GP has my almost undivided attention
