Out today

Had the afternoon out today on the 200RT I bought just before the snow arrived.  Having done 600 miles or so on it now I am really finding the bikes rhythm.  It runs lean at part throttle as many bike do these days, which makes it a little snatchy at low RPM  but its easy enough to adapt my riding style to cope.  This is definitely a bike that grows on you and I am enjoying it a lot.  I can't wait for our trip to Spain on it in July.

Good to hear you are loving the new bike ...and good that you are finally getting the weather to ride it properly.

Apparently we going to get the first decent day of the year tomorrow up here ...it's been a long time coming!

New bike

Runs lean, sounds like the e.e.c. emissions again.

Remember to use SUPER unleaded and hopefully the pipes don`t go blue.

Blue pipes

Jaffa,

I'm running it on super unleaded (Getting just over 50 mpg on the first few tanks) and the pipes are already starting to blue.  I'm not too bothered as they'll then match the rest of the bike

I might look at an 'accelerator module' to richen the mixture slightly.  Anyone have any experience of these?
