You appear to be shooting your own argument down in flames?
Ducati have ALWAYS had a capacity advantage because they can't compete on a level playing field.
An engine is a pump. A bigger pump will shift more fuel. They don't HAVE to run a twin with heavier pistons and longer throw cranks.
When Honda got pissed with them cheating and built a twin, they got their arses kicked.
Without rules to suit them, in both GP with tyres and WSB with capacity..they struggle.
Style over substance as Noddy says. Hardly surprising they appeal to silly old softees like your good self?
If they want to run unrestricted intakes and 1200..fine, just let everyone else do the same. What's your problem with that idea then Big Brain?
Old wosi loves a twin, fkin brilliant for the road, but get's a bit peeved at some of these higher than mighty Ducatisti who reckon shit ain't fair because their beloved marque can't compete on the race track.
Well make a bloody bike that can then and STFU about blinkered brand identity being so essential. It's nobodies problem but their own.
They were as happy as a pig in shit when WSB resembled a Ducati Cup.
I agree with you about Foggy..didn't do as well on the V4 Honda did he?
Saying this..he did race the roads and had pretty large bollocks. You checked yours lately, ya mincer?
