Maiden top 10 and new frame boost for Bradley Smith in Jerez

Bradley Smith has good reason to be optimistic heading to the forthcoming French MotoGP round at Le Mans after an encouraging race and test performance in Jerez last weekend. The Monster Yamaha Tech 3 rider got a double boost in Spain when he claimed his first top 10 finish in Sunday’s 27-lap race. The British rider then had a positive post race...

So this new chassis

Is the one which Crutchlow is already on, the one with which he is continually putting in pole challenging pace, but a chassis he moans about as being a couple of steps behind the factory boys, who may or may not be on a chassis or or two ahead of CC, especially Rossi who doesn't seem too keen on the 2013 stuff to date.

So what's Cal moaning about again?

the good and the bad

My theory is that there is 2 different bikes at Tech3,1 that is near factory spec and the other that is cobbled to gether with used and out of date bits. There always has been a vast difference between the 2 tech3's over the years apart from 2012 with the introduction 1ltr class.Colin Edwards performance over his years at tech tends to lean towards my theory.

“It was tough to pass the Ducati even though it was Pirro. "

I'm not sure what Smith's implying here. Is it in reference to Pirro being a test rider, or that Pirro is sh@thouse?

Either way, getting beaten by a CRT bike must mean that Espargaro is the bees-knees, and should probably be on either Brad's or Bradl's bike at the very least.

Top ten

is a tough call for Bradley to make on a regular basis, Spies was out, and Bradl went down, so in reality 10th to 12th for the rest of the season, and him finishing races first and foremost.
