Bike Collection/Delivery Service

http://transbike.co.uk What an absolute moron this guy is - collection and delivery all arranged for today, I get a call from the guy I've bought the bike off saying he hasn't turned up so I call him and he sounds like he's hungover and in bed, tells me his van has broken down - yeah right! Thanks for letting me know you complete idiot - now I've gotta do a 6 hour trip myself to go and get it. Arrrrrghhhhh!!!!

and on the face of it it looks quite a slick operation with online quotes etc ,  i take it youve emailed them and what sort of money do you have to pay upfront or is it on completion?

Bike Collection/Delivery Service

Yeah that's what I thought - and when I spoke to him during the arrangements he was really enthusiastic and seemed like a nice chap. It was £109 for the service, thank god I agreed to pay cash on delivery and didn't pay anything up front!

Where's

the bike and where are you? Only generally, not specifics. I'm coming from Yorkshire to Cambs/Herts next wednesday and onto Berks that evening. If it'll go in a pickup bed and your not too far off route, I'll bring it. PM me if any good

From what i've heard from a mate with a bike shop .... they turned up to pick a brand new bike up and apparently the van was already chock with bikes to the point where all the bikes were actually wedged in against each other .....the bike shop refused to let him take it......but these guys i can personally vouch for sos motorcycle recovery these guys move all my bikes always reliable and professional service
