Marco Melandri (BMW Motorrad GoldBet SBK) bounced back from the relative depression of Assen to an impressive fastest time in the Friday qualifying session at Monza. It was called a wet session but Melandri’s time of 1’42.883 was under the previous race lap record, if not quite at Cal Crutchlow's SBK track best. Amazing track

Monza has got to be the best motorcycle track in the world. even better than Philip island or Lagune saka. Hope Chaz Davies is going to be 100% fit and good luck to Sykes and Rea. If you MOTOGP fans want to see a couple of good races on Sunday watch WSB from Monza on Sunday, Hopefuuly it will be dry

Monza is pretty cool, although you can't see more than 1 turn sitting in 1 place like you can at Valencia for instance. But the whole place breathes bike and car racing. I wen't there about 6 years back and saw my Hero Nori Haga take superpole and the Double. Probably our best trip to a bike race i have been too. Campsite right next to the track, great food, good atmosphere and Nori at his best! Going to Jerez this year. On topic, got high hopes for the Grinner to come away with 2 podiums at least. Hopefuly Chaz is ok for tommorow.
