OUT TODAY - 'Early Doors'

With rain forecast ..yet again!.....we had to call off today's rideout..:upset:....So the only chance of getting a ride on the bike at all this weekend was to get up early and grab a quick run before breakfast and the rain.

With it being quiet I thought I would do a quick spin through the city before going for the usual blast up the Stockiemuir...so here are a few urban shots of lovely Glasgow...:winkie:

Ive been up here since 2007 and oddly I didn't find it as cold as Norfolk during the winter.  Good thing about being in the west the winds off the steps of Russia don't quite get here , though it can still be chilly.  However the damp is another thing and can be damn right horrible on a grim day.

Regarding your picnicking on Holkham Beach during winter well.... your as mad as a box of frogs!

I love Holkham beach (mental note must visit it next time when I am down), can't bet a nice walk or even taking the horse for a gallop (happy memories)!

there were

quite a few hosses running on the beach when we were there.......certainly lends itself to a good gallop, that beach....my sis's greyhound certainly stretched its legs as well !!  As for bbq, we did get a few odd looks..
