Out Today

To say goodbye to an old friend, we've known each other for fifty nine and a half years.

Little

pinky was a right pain after five other operations for Dupuytrens it became so heavily scarred it was useless so OFF WITH IT. Watching was interesting especially when it came to trimming the bone with nibblers.

Surgeon doesn't do glove alterations though.

I did ask how long before the nail grows back but I think it caused more confusion than anything else.

Mrs H yep sure did found it to be very interesting but then I always have been able to watch that sort of thing like when this was done. See pictures of 201's ops

I hope

it heals up nice and quick. Better off without it once it's got to that stage.

I wonder if they sent it to someone like me. I often get bits of people in pots to do tests on, then I can tell which antibiotic, if any, may be needed. Ever so generous of the surgeons, specially as all I really need is a nice tidy little swab from the wound.

Get well soon.It shouldn't take too long, as long as you do as you're told.

You'll be able to tell folk you are one of the Yakuza now. :winkie:

Hope it all heals up quick for you.  Don't reckon I would fancy watching having it amputated myself , though I knew a lady who watched whilst they amputated her leg (diabetes)......she said the weird bit was feeling the saw snagging on the bone!
