SQUIRES MCN meet? Sunday 2nd of June

Me and gunga are heading north on the 2nd, and it would be cool if we could meet/ride up with some of you crazy cats.

We've never been to Squires, so it would be nice to have someone to hold our hands and show us about, we're very shy you know blush3.gif

Seriously though it would be great to see some old faces again and meet some new ones :smile
We'd hope to be there about 11.00ish but will be weather dependent, a 4 hour ride in "Summer" snow doesn't appeal tbh.
What ya reckon:unsure:

the jingle was : Trebor mints are a minty bit stronger, stick em up your bum and they last a bit longer!!

Did Weasel pen that ??

Or was that a childhood memory dragged up from 45 years ago:wink:

calamityjane (and others)....

bringing your own food (and a flask.) is a good idea,as the food and drink at Squires is a crime against humanity.Jut be furtive about eating your own,it's not allowed you know.:smile....I'm afraid unless someone knows different,or you are going to detour through Derbyshire, and keep off the M1,that you won't have much of a fun ride up.

calamityjane....

yes they do...and it is quite possibly the hardest place to locate unless you go with someone 'in the know', tucked away in that hollow, hidden by a railway bridge on one side and the motorway on the other.

My sense of direction

is poor at the best of times, so good luck to the oxfordshire

crew, unless some kind soul meets them at a point in their journey. It took me 3hrs instead of an hour and half
