Le Mans Moto2: Redding takes first win!

Scott Redding finally broke his duck to take victory in his first Moto2 race at Le Mans today, 20 years to the day since Alan Carter's win in the same class at the French track. Takaai Nakagami took an early lead after a brilliant start from pole, but soon lost the lead to Pol Espagaro. However, he couldn't get away from...

Proud of ya ... brave and well controlled. Congratulations to you and your team. No reason either why the championship cannot be yours ... more ‘breathing’ and ‘wanting’ please ;-) Ignore the idiots ;-) Very well done - enjoy !!

Verry happy for Scott, of course he had a bit of luck with Nakagami,Pol and Rabat crashing? Then again, all those crashes were their own fault! With Stefan Bradl crashing under no pressure on an almost factory Honda, i really hope Scott can take his ride.so much better than an Kalex/Yamaha or a non numatic valve production Honda. I do believe Scott could take top 6's easilly on Bradl's bike. Oh and respect for Xavier Simeon, not a Dutchman but close enough. First belgian podium in 30 years or so. Didier de Radigues was the last one for belgium.

well deserved

I am really pleased for scott Redding. A fantastic result in really bad conditions and those guys who are slagging him of obviously dont ride motorcycles that fast other wise they would know how difficult it is to ride a bike quicky in the sort of conditions that Scott won in today.
