Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasnt the race run on wet tyres, and the reason it was red-flagged was it was becoming unsafe to continue on badly-worn wets with fresh rain falling?

Anyhow, Scott would have won regardless.

No, it was a dry race.  There were some parts of the track that were damp, but both the support classes were dry races (until the red flag).

Scott in control

You need 4 races into the season before reasonable predictions start but anyone with approximately 25 (24 in this case) points can be said to be in control of the championship and that's exactly where Scott is. There's a long way to go but as the championship stands it is now his to loose. The VDS bikes are working very well, Scott is managing his tyres so much better nowadays so all looks reasonably bright. Race strategy from now on, he may well have to loose a race to win a championship. Good luck to him.

its not his to lose, its only 24 points.  That can be made up very easily but as a Redding fan i'm hoping not ;)
