Valentino Rossi rues blowing podium chance in France

DT...

"14 points back and soundly beaten in three out of four races. That isn't good is it Hedge?"

Not ideal but hardly the picture you painted... why mention 24 points when he's only 17 off the lead?... & why say Yamaha when they came 2nd & are only 14 off the lead? Tell you what, to settle this can we agree that JL needs to pull his socks up if he wants to win the rider's championship for Yamaha or they'll be in the poo (especially if a satellite rider continues stealing points from him)?

Jamie - "I can name something you said that was bollocks and that you didn't correct, it was about Iran and the SAS, remember?"

Nope... remind us all... or stick to the topic... whatever...

The picture I painted

was one of Yamaha in, or getting close to the poo.

The 24 points is a comparison of where he was last year at this point after a run of two wins and two seconds to illustrate the poo approaching state Yamaha are in this year.

I know accepting Yamaha may have problems doesn't suit your agenda, but when you have Jorge on the latest 2013 frame, Rossi on an earlier frame, and Cal on one of last years, with all three of them losing ground to Honda, it doesn't look good. For Yamaha.

Thats what I was saying metophorically about Lorenzo "wobbling" in 7th. If Bradl and Rossi had stayed upright top Yamaha and world champion would have been 9th. Why?

Oh FFS

With all this Yamaha are in a mess crap.

Lorenzo won Qatar. He was 3 seconds from the lead at COTA and 2 at Jerez before he went off. Le Mans was his first bad race in how long? They got something wrong with the bike. Bridgestone have said the tyre was fine (as they would anyway) Either the tyre or the set up of the bike hampered him. Do you really think that was the true level of the M1?

Cal finished 2nd  SECOND.  So there isn't much wrong with the Yamaha is there. He's regularly smashed the two other Hondas in terms of pace. If the Honda is so good what are they doing so far behind the Tech3 bike.

What's that you say? Down to the riders?

Well just maybe Pedrosa and Marquez are doing a slightly better job than Lorenzo at the moment. Next race it could turn again and Lorenzo wins. Does that then mean the Hondas are shite and the M1 is best?

Jesus H. Too much over analysing
