Valentino Rossi rues blowing podium chance in France

Valentino Rossi saw his bid for a second rostrum finish of 2013 slip away in a rain-hit Le Mans MotoGP race after the Italian crashed out while lying in fourth position. The 34-year-old was trying to keep Monster Yamaha Tech 3 rider Cal Crutchlow in his sights when he lost the front-end in the braking zone for Turn 6 on lap...

A brace of gumbi..

You do understand the wall was erected because one rider was running Michelin and the other Bridgestone?

You're drifting off into fanboy land again CHR.

Tell us about how Rossi stopped Stoner joining Yamaha becuase he was scared?

Remind us WHO quit in a huff because he didn't back a title up, was scared because of his hurt ankle and the series wasn't going in the direction he wanted it to?

H5..Stoner was a glory seeking selfish bastard. I'd have sacked him on the spot for not being a team player.

He couldn't win the title but Dani and Honda could..he refused to even talk about it.

Fkin ego the size of CHR's plums after the kicking I've just given them..

Hahahaa..completely owned.

Ain't no boots big enough to take the job on...

..of kicking my gargantuan nads. No worries there...You're off your rocker if you think the wall was erected for any other reason than Rossi wanting things his own way - childish, selfish and certainly no team player!

Absolute tosh Wosi about Stoner losing Pedrosa the title in 2012

The cider must be kicking in. Pedrosa crashed on his own at PI, and the result only looked close at the end of the season because Jorge decided to go all out for the win in  the last race. If he had needed to finish to win the title he could easily have settled for second at Valencia. Still, it ended up being a wet race in which anything can happen, hence Pedrosa showed poor judgement in trying to win the PI race in the first laps.

Stoner crashing at Sachsenring may well have cost Honda the title, but as you say anyone can crash as Valentino demonstrated last race. By your argument Dani cost Honda the championship at Sachsenring 2012 anyway by not giving way to Stoner, since Stoner  was the defending champion and ahead of Dani in the 2012 championship then.

Hey Dogbreath

Stoner announced his retirement long before he damaged his ankle.

Bank Holiday this weekend, your time would be better spent polishing the chrome on your yellow vespa so you can show it off down Skeggy on Monday

Pipe down tiddly widdly, you're a boy amongst men here. Listen and learn..Oh and Lambretta please.

CHR..the only reason your wizened plums are a good size now, is because you've been tea-bagging Stoners pint of Fosters so much..they've re-hydrated beyond belief with fizzy pleb drinking ale.

DF..The lady doth protest too much, methinks..Stoner was a selfish, inconsiderate bastard and you know it.

It's your unlearned opinions that give the the half-wits of the Internet the confidence to have a crack themselves.

Why thanks Tets..that's the profoundest thing you've said in ages.

Now let's get back to your stunning insight and thought provoking comment that Rossi is a faggot?

From the heart, brother

Rossi a faggot? Who knows?  Apart from him and Uccio, of course.

Insights? Would love to chat about Shrek's MASSIVE tear-jerking, pre-race whinge, but I'll leave that for one of his threads.  It was a classic, though.

Must have been comforting for the fangirls to learn that Rossi didn't make a mistake, though.  Turns out it was AVG and a bump's fault. *phew*
